About Thinking Well ResourcesThe Fisher Institute for Wellness and Gerontology is committed to providing a wellness environment that allows each student and staff member the opportunity for challenge, growth, and recognition. In August 2008 Thinking Well Resources, a graduate assistant led team, kicked off its comprehensive wellness and professional development initiative focused on creating a culture of wellness and professionalism at the Institute.
Thinking Well Resources primarily makes use of the wellness and professional development resources already available at Ball State University and the Muncie community to build on the culture that already exists at the Fisher Institute.
A comprehensive wellness and professional development program at the Fisher Institute allows students an additional perspective into planning, implementing, and evaluating programs. As participants, students have a bird eye's view of the challenges and rewards of wellness and professional development programs targeting them. This can add to their learning experience as future leaders in wellness and gerontology.
